What a race....
« on: Monday, April 07, 2014 »
That was a good race for the spectators and the Mercedes team. Disappointing to have both McLaren fail to finish. Kevin must have magnetic attraction for Kimi though.

What a put down for Vettel....'let Daniel through please, he is faster'....Massa suffered behind Bottas for a change when he was clearly faster....any regrets now about ignoring a team request??

Congratulations to Mercedes on letting the drivers at least look like they were racing, showing Ferrari what the word 'race' means...

oh and the joy of seeing Alonso so very very slow.....anyone think he will still be in a Ferrari next year?? Is this year going to be the earliest that Domenicali comes out and says we are going to concentrate on next years car to gain an advantage over the other teams?? I have now lost count of how many times he has said it.....

Well done to Perez...but I don't miss you in a McLaren...just got to get rid of Button and we might start to challenge again for a win or maybe think about a championship??

Maldonado...a danger to other racers or wrong place wrong time (AGAIN) how could he say he didn't see what he hit??

All in all I rather enjoyed watching the race and didn't nod off once...and I still rather like the sound of the new F1. Roll on German GP and i'll be there enjoying a beer, sausage, decent organisation and maybe a bar maid again...

There was some great racing through the entire field, for sure. Now, granted, 1st and 2nd were locked up before the lights went out, but even THEY were giving it hell.

Some of the best wheel to wheel I've seen in years.

It was some really good racing. I gotta be honest - I don't miss the sound that much at all.

As for Maldonado, what a prick. I can't believe he even suggested that it wasn't his fault. That asshat needs to go back to Indy car.

My favorite part of the race? "Sebastian, Dan is faster than you."

I fell out of my chair laughing my ass off.

Yea, that was good. But you have to give credit where credit is due: Vettle pulled right the hell over and let him go without saying a word.

I know he probably bit his tongue in half, but he did it right. Well done by him.
