Suzuka 2014
« on: Monday, October 06, 2014 »
It is so hard to start any F1 topic after this Sunday . Racing was not the same as it was in the past , but accidents look the same . Where is that saffety ? OK , F1 is a dangerous sport per se but ... all improvements in high tech designes of the car ....I donīt know ? Poor Bianchi . Suzuka was my favourite track , but since 2003 and Katoīs death I changed my mind . This time , the same feeling , horror ...

I do hope ( even I saw the video of this crash ) heīll recover . What else we can say ?

I sincerely hope Jules is OK and makes a full recovery. That said, he was traveling FAR TOO FAST while double yellow flags were waving. Drivers have been ignoring yellow flags for years, either barely lifting or not lifting at all for them. They constantly over drive the cars and leave the racing surface and never get a penalty.

You want to stop this sort of thing? It's simple: ENFORCE THE RULES. About time Perez gets 5 drive through penalties in a row for going off track, he'll stop driving like an idiot.

Maldonado, Perez are the worst offenders, but they are all the same, none of them will lift enough because the guy behind won't lift and will catch up. Maldonado can't even make an adjustment to the steering wheel without spinning or crashing into something.

It is simple, any vehicle apart from the F1 cars on track or inside a crash barrier then the safety car has to come out or they have a sector time that they have to stick to with a 20 second stop go penalty for times faster than the time.

Which idiot thought that a fast sharp low pointy thing wouldn't go under a high solid slow moving thing?? This accident has been coming for years. Brundle almost bought it in japan and only avoided it by the narrowest of margins and i bet the marshal he hit still isn't right. Why can't they fit a catch frame around the tractors and other recovery vehicles? Trucks/Lorries in the UK have to have a barrier fitted -rear and both sides to stop cars going under the trailer

Did Jules did lift off, but too much, lost the downforce and the tyres didn't push through the water.....
