problems going to start in Germany?

A worrying development? or just the FIA playing games as usual...is this the hand of Red Bull in the back ground?

Once again it's the FIA trying to keep the championship going to the end of the year. F1 has suffered it's lowest turnout and ratings this year for a long, long time. Not since 1986 has it been so bad.

Frankly, the V6 was a very, very bad idea. Add to that the fact that most races take place when the VAST majority of F1 fans are asleep, and you just can't sell the sport anymore. Sure, Bernie gets his fee from all the communist/dictator/oil sheiks, but they in turn don't get a thing out of it other than their own yes men patting them on the back.

That's the biggest problem right there. I used to never miss a race. Now, it's actually quite rare that I see one.

I'm going to Germany for the race, sitting in the Mercedes stand, with 2 Ferrari fans and a Mercedes fan...can't wait. Will cheer for the McLarens and Hamilton...:-)

Have a great time! Also, if possible, post a few pics! Always love that track side stuff of yours.

They still have F1? Wasn't aware of it. I thought it was replaced by a V6 spec series of overpaid drama queens.

Well, you have a point. It's quite rare these days that there's a race on you can watch, or any news worth reading. The sport is just dead. Most of the forums are gone now too.

Nobody gives a damn anymore.
