Now we know why Martin Whitmarsh was so desperate to get Alonso to commit to coming back to the team..he was trying to save his own job.

Plus I hear that Ron has been out shooting pheasants with Ross Brawn.....a couple of long walks together and quiet chats away from the rest of the shooting party.

Next years car going to be orange?? so long as its not another lemon I don't care what colour it is.

I would love to have Ross Brawn on in place of Martin. Martin has had more than enough time and opportunity and he's done near fuckall with it.

As far as what color the car is, I don't care if it's paisley so long as it wins.

Same here, dude. I'd love to see Ross on the wall. The only thing better would be seeing Ross on the wall while we kicked the **** out of Ferrari.

Jonathan Neale may well end up on the pit wall at least at the start of the season....
The thing I can't find out is the new sponsor....can't find anything and no one is giving hints.

unhappily I don't think MS is coming out of this hospital....condition stable means unchanged and I fear the worst I am afraid.

I don't care who's on the pit wall for now. I know Ron will get all the bullshit sorted finally, so I'm happy.

I also think Michael will be fine. They had me listed as critical for three weeks even when I was in fact doing just fine in 6 days.  A LOT of pain, but just fine overall. Doctors nearly always make a situation out to be worse than it really is. That way you don't sue them for malpractice.

Unless of course you're a doctor for Robert Kubica...then you flat out lie and say nothing really happened and that everything is OK.

I wonder how long Sam Micheal can last now? He took Williams from a winning team to the back of the grid....came to McLaren-a winning team-and has taken them back as far as mid-field so far...
Martin and Sam can do a double act and leave together.

I have always wondered what the flying hell Sam Michael was ever good for. I've heard he's a "marketing genius". Really? Then why was every team he was with out of sponsors? (Like we are at present I might add.)

The guy must be able to suck a golf ball through 50 feet of garden hose and has knees made of steel. That's the only thing I can figure.

More than likely.

Renault is like a company acquired in a hostile takeover: They (the rest of the grid) are parting it out and selling it off piece by piece. Renault are broke. In fact, they're not broke they are in debt up to their ass.

Good to see Ron back at the helm. He'll get those muthas sorted out. Ron will be in position to take over when Bernie goes away for a long stay in a big hotel.

I don't think Bernie is going anywhere. Money. He's got WAY too much money to buy people off.
