LMAO!

So he did it but he didn't. Beautiful! Proof that money talks. You can buy your way out of anything these days. Now watch...the judge will break ground on a new villa in the south of France by the end of the month.

Yea, I kinda figured it would work out that way. It's laughable: I bribed somebody but I didn't do anything wrong.

If it was one of us that did that, we'd be behind bars so fast it'd make your head swim.

Did you bother to read the ruling? I know the concept of sublty is beyond you "it's either black or it's white" boys, so I will explain it to you.

In case you don't know which you probably don't, to recover damages a party has to prove it actually incurred a loss of some kind. In this case while a bribe was alledgedly paid, the judge ruled that Constantin Medien didn't suffer any financial loss and therefore no damages can be recovered. Read it, its quite simple.

To make a crass statement like "I bribed somebody but I didn't do anything wrong" just shows how little you and minime understand, this is a civil rather than criminal case, it's nothing to do with wrongdoing its about compensating a loss.

Regards

Dave

A bribe is a bribe. In this country, it's illegal. Doesn't matter why you did it, who got what out of it, or when it was done. It's a crime. End of story. I don't need any more smart assed comments from you. What he did was wrong. End of story. He got away with it...as everybody said he would.

The key phrase in your post Parminio is, 'in this country' and there in lays the problem. Each country has its own laws and regulations. The country that was trying the case had to uphold the laws of that country and it did. Where you, me and most of the rest of the world might not like it that's just how it is.
A similar thing could be said for the forthcoming dope laws in some US states, people in Thailand would face the death penalty if they had a similar amount of drugs that will shortly be totally legal in the US....
The world is a place with lots of different people and lots of different rules. You just have to live with the laws you got where you live at the time and not with the laws of somewhere else just because you like them better.

I understand all that. Doesn't change the fact that it's bullshit.

Just because the man that murdered a family of four didn't get red his rights so his statement is thrown out of court doesn't mean he isn't a worthless murderer that deserves to die. It simply means he gets off because of the law.

That doesn't make what he did right one single bit, now does it?

And that's it exactly. Tons of complete crooks get off scot from due to the law. It doesn't make it right. At all.
